As Vintage as Vintage Can Be

We loved all the hand made vintage details that Becky incorporated into her wedding flowers. She detailed the mason jars with burlap, lace and vintage brooches. We filled these with hydrangea, stock, roses and greens and hung them from shepherd's hooks down the aisle. She collected antique luggage and lace doilies and had them staged on an vintage desk with a cute collection of potted plants to create her adorable altar. Inside the reception were even more fun details like the handmade butcher paper book covers that created a platform for the floral centerpieces. Lastly, the bride and groom's chairs were lovingly labeled with darling burlap signs. It was, if we may be so bold, as vintage as vintage can be!

Pink Chic

Our lovely bride Nicole chose a profusion of pinks for her wedding flowers, bridesmaid dresses and even for the groomsmen's shirts. We loved it all, even cute intern Kiley who had to ride in the back of the delivery van holding on to the tall arrangements all the way to Longmont.

Pink is so very Chic!

Lady Gaga Gets Married

Check out this link to a great video of the ISES Wedding Showcase we did recently. Our table is the one with all of the glass globes suspended over it, terrariums full of succulents and gold nuggets and the amazing model, Emma, with a headpiece that made her look like Lady Gaga!

Spring Wedding Flowers in Bloom at The Seawell Grand Ballroom

Brilliant Blooms had the opportunity to work at the stunning and extremely well-run Seawell Grand Ballroom this past Sunday at their Inaugural Wedding Showcase and Fashion Show.
We chose to fill our designs with a variety of early spring flowers like peonies, hyacinth, tulips, daffodils, scabiosa and chamomile for their beautiful fragrance and rarity. Paired with a chandelier of umbrellas from Splendor for Your Guests, delectables from Gateaux Pastries, and rental items like mismatched vintage china, depression glass cake plates, and antique keys from A Vintage Affair our display was a hit!

The new book includes our best work yet and we would love to share it with you.
Some stunning highlights are pictured above including a white-tipped burgundy dahlia bride's bouquet, an adorable pink and brown hydrangea & fiddle head fern shoot centerpiece accented with buttons, a deep purple bouquet including wheat and lavender, a bright fall floral centerpiece designed inside a real pumpkin & a vintage hat box filled with lush garden roses, purple hydrangea & monkshood.

We had the honor of decorating Kevin Taylor's Restaurant at the Opera House for the ISES Holiday Party in December. We took the opportunity to showcase our handmade mercury glass decor and brand new chandeliers. Thanks to Kent Meireis Photography and Charming Chairs for their partnership.

Introducing Deer Creek Valley Ranch

Brilliant Blooms had the pleasure of working at Deer Creek Valley Ranch again on this fabulous styled photo shoot. The Ranch has so many ceremony and reception area options, and we did our best to decorate them all. We love this wedding venue because it has the perfect Colorado outdoor feel and a rustic western barn that characterizes so many mountain venues, but it is only 1 hour from Downtown. The owners are wonderful, caring people and we adore them!

Our Thanks to these Vendor Partners:

A Passion for Purple Wedding Flowers

These lovely purple wedding flowers were inspired by our beautiful bride, Sylvia, a devoted Rockies fan, and her fiance, who was raised on a wheat farm in Eastern Colorado. We were asked to combine the rich deep purple that symbolizes the Colorado Rockies and dried wheat from the groom's parents' farm. Above are the floral designs we came up with to decorate their ceremony on the infield at Coors Field. Thanks to TC Decker from Muse Events for including us in this joyful wedding.
