As Vintage as Vintage Can Be

We loved all the hand made vintage details that Becky incorporated into her wedding flowers. She detailed the mason jars with burlap, lace and vintage brooches. We filled these with hydrangea, stock, roses and greens and hung them from shepherd's hooks down the aisle. She collected antique luggage and lace doilies and had them staged on an vintage desk with a cute collection of potted plants to create her adorable altar. Inside the reception were even more fun details like the handmade butcher paper book covers that created a platform for the floral centerpieces. Lastly, the bride and groom's chairs were lovingly labeled with darling burlap signs. It was, if we may be so bold, as vintage as vintage can be!

Pink Chic

Our lovely bride Nicole chose a profusion of pinks for her wedding flowers, bridesmaid dresses and even for the groomsmen's shirts. We loved it all, even cute intern Kiley who had to ride in the back of the delivery van holding on to the tall arrangements all the way to Longmont.

Pink is so very Chic!

Chair Ties? Yeah, We Do That Too!

We had the privilege of working at The Wooden Table restaurant for a small wedding reception this past weekend. The space is lovely and open with neutral colors which allowed us to decorate with bright, vibrant colors and really bring out the fun on these table tops. Our bride's mother provided antique sterling silver tea pots, creamers and sugar bowls for us to fill with gorgeous flowers. And yes, we tied 70 chair tied into bows and it was exhausting! But the over all effect was lovely! Thanks to All Well Rents for the linens.

Magical Vintage Inspired Wedding Flowers at The Boettcher Mansion

Despite many challenges, including the bride's limo breaking down half way up Look Out Mountain and having to hitchhike to her own wedding, Mandy and her groom met at the altar and said "I do" with smiles on their faces. We loved working on this romantic, vintage-inspired wedding with such a wonderful, fun-loving couple.

Crisp & Clean, White & Green Wedding Flowers

Jamie and Aaron's wedding decor was ultra clean, all white and green. We hung paper lanterns over their small centerpieces filled with white hydrangea, roses, phlox and scented geranium leaves. On the remaining tables we built tall trees of curly willow and hung them with live white dendrobium orchids. The effect was spectacular in the Seawell Grand Ballroom.

Wedding Flower Season...Its That Time of Year

With the help of our beautiful interns we've been making some lovely wedding flower arrangements here at Brilliant Blooms.

Adorable personalized drinking "glasses" made of mini mason jars

Super Cute combination table top design including hole punched tin cans used as candle holders, vintage wooden berry baskets, blue mason jars, and larger tin cans wrapped with lace and jute twine.

tin cans wrapped with lace and jute twine hung from shepherd's hooks on either side of the aisle during the outside ceremony

This is my personal favorite wedding so far. A vintage inspired event held at the Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield. Our bride chose a bevy of bright colors and unique containers to hold her arrangements. The were all transported the the ceremony sight by this adorable mini John Deere tractor, as if they were not cute enough on their own!

Thanks to Julia Hansen from A Touch of Bliss Events for involving us in this wedding and to Jessica Strong from A Vintage Affair Rentals for the beautiful blue mason jars.

Gorgeous Pink Wedding in Estes Park at Della Terra

We love these early season Peonies & Ranunculus together with hydrangea, spray roses and hybrid tea roses. The wedding's color scheme of gray and pink was perfectly complimented by this combination of texture and shades of pink. We also loved the ruffly scented geranium leaves that added a verbena-like fragrance and a lacy refinement to the whole affair.

Gorgeous Hanging Baskets & Patio Pots

Friends, if you love flowers as much as I do you might like these hanging baskets. Each is 12" in diameter and with your loving care will bloom beautifully until September. They are $35 and I'll be getting them in this Friday and Next. Just in time for Mother's Day! Patio pots in the same size & style are also available. I divided mine and used them to fill my window boxes. Let me know if you need a little something gorgeous for yourself.
