Finally, our images of The Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding Showcase are ready for public viewing. Brilliant Blooms was asked to create 5 fantasy tables based on the show's theme of sustainability. We designed 5 distinct vignettes from non-floral materials that were either recycled, found or reusable objects. All of the vignettes are available from Brilliant Blooms for rent or purchase.

Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding Showcase This Thursday

Brilliant Blooms will be exhibiting at the Denver Botanic Gardens Wedding Showcase this Thursday from 5-9 PM. If you are thinking of getting married at the gardens in 2011 and want a sneak peek, plus the chance to book your date 2 weeks before the general public, this is a must attend event. Cherry Blossom Inspired Wedding at The Denver Botanic Gardens

These fabulous wedding flowers incorporated the clean lines of "cherry blossom trees" hung with glass lanterns, vibrant shades of hot pink, and the intoxicating fragrance of stargazer lilies. Stefanie chose her wedding flowers with the spring blooming season in mind. We knew that real cherry blossoms on the branch might be hard to come by in mid May, but she was graciously open to the idea of using real branches decorated by silk flowers. The effect was stunning, and Mitchell Hall at the Denver Botanic Gardens was splendid. We alternated the wedding flower centerpieces by placing tall trees on half of the tables and short vases filled with lilies on the other half. Stefanie's wedding bouquet was composed exclusively of stargazer lilies as were the ceremony decorations. Matt's cute little boutonnière was a bit more understated. We used hot pink button mums and curly willow to create a complimentary look.

Denver Botanic Gardens: Art in the Gardens

Denver Botanic Gardens is not only the most beautiful place to have your wedding ceremony and reception in Denver; it also currently houses a stunning collection of Henry Moore sculpture.

Convex surfaces and concave interiors play against the texture and scale of the natural world in “Moore in the Gardens” – a truly significant presentation of works by acclaimed 20th century British sculptor, Henry Moore

(1898-1986). Visitors will find monumental reclining figures and colossal abstracted forms throughout the Gardens’ York Street location.
